PRE-OP/PACU RN Full Time

Des Peres Square Surgery Center is hiring a Full Time Pre-Op/PACU Registered Nurse At Des Peres Square Surgery Center, we pride ourselves on providing a superior surgical experience within a high-quality, service-oriented environment. Our center is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care and is physician-owned, reflecting our dedication to a collaborative approach to healthcare. The RN has the responsibility to plan, direct, organize, coordinate and implement all nursing care services for pre‑ or post‑surgical patients in a manner suitable to accepted standards of care. He or she ensures the highest quality and safe delivery of patient care while maintaining compliance with professional nursing, JCAHO, and all federal and state standards of care. The RN cares for all ages from 1 month to geriatric. Position requires weekdays only – no holidays, weekends or call. Some later evenings may be required. Competitive salary and benefits for the right candidate. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing. Active RN license in the state. ACLS required. Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment. Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet needs of patients and unit. Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
