As a Physical Therapist, you will work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive treatment programs tailored to each patient's unique needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify individual treatment objectives and requirements, implementing tailored physical therapy plans.
- Manage a caseload that includes conducting one-on-one treatment sessions for an average of one patient per hour, ensuring quality care through dedicated focus.
- Deliver cost-effective therapeutic interventions aimed at improving patients’ mobility and functional outcomes, utilizing techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities.
- Regularly monitor patient progress, assess the impacts of prescribed treatments, and adjust care plans as necessary, maintaining open lines of communication with both patients and healthcare stakeholders.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate patient documentation, including evaluations, progress notes, treatment plans, and insurance billing, in compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
- Engage in professional collaboration with orthopedic specialists and interdisciplinary teams to refine treatment approaches and elevate patient care standards.
Patient Population / Client Focus
You will primarily provide care to individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and various musculoskeletal conditions. Emphasizing rehabilitation from conditions like fractures, sprains, and chronic pain, we cater to a diverse patient demographic ranging from young athletes to older adults returning to daily activities. Your contributions will directly impact their physical wellness and overall quality of life.
Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
- Valid Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey.
- A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience providing physical therapy in outpatient orthopedic settings.
- Impeccable professional record with no instances of board actions or disciplinary measures against your license.
- Proficient in manual therapy techniques and familiar with a variety of therapeutic modalities.
- Strong interpersonal skills with an aptitude for both independent and collaborative work.
Preferred Experience
While we require a solid foundation as a Physical Therapist, preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate additional experience in evidence-based practice modalities, sports rehabilitation, and community health initiatives. Expertise in patient education strategies and rehabilitation technology will also be viewed favorably.
Compensation and Benefits
This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
