This role offers valuable exposure to hospital operations and clinical workflows.Key Position Details:.9 FTE (72 hour per 2 week pay period)8 hour day/evening shiftEvery other weekend rotation, includes both Saturday and SundayJob Description:Provides blood collection for laboratory analysis and 12 Lead Cardiogram acquisitions for in-patients and select out-patients of all ages. Principle ResponsibilitiesBlood sample collection via phlebotomy for lab analysisAcquisition of 12 Lead CardiogramsDepartmental Operations and WorkflowSafetyTechnologyOther duties as assigned.Required QualificationsMust be 18 years of age with education and/or experience needed to meet required functional competencies as listed on the job descriptionPreferred QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED2 to 5 years experience in phlebotomyLicenses/CertificationsMust meet at least ONE of the requirements below ? Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association ? Current BLS certification from the American Red Cross ? Allina in-house BLS training (within 30 days of hire)Phlebotomy Certification upon hire preferredPhysical DemandsMedium Work*: Lifting weight up to 32 lbs. occasionally (*Allina Safe Patient Moving Policy), up to 25 lbs. frequentlyPay RangePay Range: $22.84 to $28.85 per hourThe pay described reflects the base hourly pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable).
