Duties

• Engage in outside sales activities by prospecting new clients through community events, networking, and referrals
• Conduct thorough client consultations to assess their insurance needs and recommend suitable life insurance policies
• Negotiate policy terms and coverage options to align with client requirements and budget considerations
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through ongoing communication and personalized service
• Manage sales administration tasks using CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems to track leads, follow-ups, and policy details
• Stay informed about industry regulations, product updates, and competitive market trends to provide accurate advice
• Collaborate with team members to develop strategies for expanding client base and increasing sales opportunities

Skills

• Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or insurance sales with a focus on client engagement
• Strong negotiation skills to effectively close deals while ensuring customer satisfaction
• Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual proficiency preferred for diverse client interactions
• Knowledge of property casualty, health, and life insurance products along with commercial insurance fundamentals
• Familiarity with insurance regulation standards and benefits administration processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems for efficient sales management
• Exceptional analysis skills to evaluate client needs and recommend appropriate coverage options
• Customer service orientation with the ability to build lasting client relationships through effective communication and trust-building techniques
