SUVI Global Services is looking for a Database Engineer to support IT across all DoD OIG networks. Responsibilities Responsible for design, implementation and optimization of enterprise databases across hybrid on-premises and Azure cloud environments. Oversee database administration, performance tuning, high availability, disaster recovery and integration with Microsoft 365 services. Set technical direction, ensure security and compliance standards are met, and guide cloud migrations using Azure SQL, managed instances, and related services. Drive automation initiatives, mentor junior engineers, and provide Tier‑3 escalation support for complex database issues. Act as both a technical expert and team leader ensuring scalable, secure, and reliable data platforms that support enterprise applications and business intelligence. Qualifications Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university. Minimum 8‑10 years in an IT related field. Active IAT Level II certification or equivalent. Desired Qualifications Major in Information Technology. Certifications: Oracle OCP, Microsoft SQL Expert.
