Washington Permanente Medical Group (WPMG) is the clinician-led medical group that provides care exclusively for Kaiser Permanente members in Washington state. With over 1,300 clinicians across more than 30 specialties, WPMG is one of the largest and most respected multi-specialty practices in the Pacific Northwest. Position Overview: Kaiser Permanente-Washington Permanente Medical Group is seeking part-time or full-time (0.5 - 1.0 FTE) BC/BE Geriatric fellowship trained physician(s) to join our clinic family at the Olympia Medical Center in Olympia, Washington. This position will include a hybrid of face-to-face work in clinic and virtual e-consult visits. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of an integrated care delivery system that prioritizes evidence-based medicine, patient-centered care, and collaboration amongst multi-disciplinary care teams. Our Geriatricians are a part of an integrated, collaborative care team with multiple layers of clinical support:- Primary Care Physicians (PCP) : Close collaboration & coordinated care across the patient's care team
- RN & MA Support : Dedicated clinical support to help manage patient needs & care coordination
- Social Work : Support addressing social, behavioral & community needs for each patient
- Case Management : Assistance with complex care coordination & transitions of care
- Specialty Collaboration : Easy access to colleagues & collaboration across specialty departments
- Integrated Services : Connected access to pharmacy, behavioral health, imaging, laboratory & other care resources
- Team-Based Care : Practice as part of an integrated medical group, with high collaboration & shared responsibilities for patient outcomes
Ideal candidates will have experience with telehealth and digital health-or the flexibility to incorporate virtual care into their practice.
- This position is 100% outpatient with no call required.
- This position is non-paneled.
- You will have an excellent balance of patients per day and work with a centralized Telehealth Medical Center team to support your patients 24/7.
- Inbox support team will manage up to 70% of your in-basket messages.
- AI Scribing & Summarization support to cut down charting time by half.
- In our integrated health care model our clinicians have instant access to dozens of specialties, which allows for a level of collaboration and comprehensive treatment your patients deserve.
- Salary Range: $295,302 to $347,414 (salary will be prorated based on FTE, new hire salaries will be based on factors such as education, training and experience.)
