Counselor, Addictions Treatment Facility

Position: Counselor Carroll Institute in Sioux Falls, SD provides a supportive environment for substance abuse prevention and treatment. We seek a Counselor to support our mission. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree plus addictions licensure, with preference for dual‑credentialed professionals (CAC/LAC) and a Master’s degree with an LPC, LMFT, or LCSW license. Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive, integrated program services within scope of practice for target populations; includes emergent issues, ongoing issues, continuity of services, contingency planning, and future planning. Deliver recovery‑oriented, co‑occurring capable, stage‑matched interventions across services including: Assessment and diagnostic interviews Individual, family, or group therapy Education Crisis management Case management Alcohol/Drug testing (urine analysis, breathalyzers, etc.) Discharge and referrals Follow‑up services as necessary Prepare, review, and submit required documentation throughout the treatment process for each individual. Maintain working relationships with local referral sources and community agencies.
