Job Description
The Restaurant Line Cook plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality food experiences by preparing, cooking, and plating dishes efficiently and hygienically. This position requires collaboration with kitchen staff to maintain a clean and organized cooking environment while ensuring all food meets established quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to recipes and presentation standards
- Cook food items efficiently and ensure proper plating before service
- Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of kitchen stations and equipment
- Monitor food quality and consistency to guarantee customer satisfaction
- Collaborate effectively with team members to support smooth kitchen operations
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in restaurant cooking
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of Food Safety standards
- Proficient knife skills
- Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Attention to detail and basic math competency
- Experience operating kitchen equipment
