A dedicated school requires a licensed School Psychologist for a full-time contract position, working 37.5 hours per week throughout the full school year. This rewarding opportunity serves PreK through 4th grade, focusing on early childhood evaluations, re-evaluations, and providing comprehensive mental health and threat assessments to foster student success and well-being.

The ideal candidate holds an IL Psych PEL license and has a passion for early intervention, making a real difference in the lives of young learners. Previous experience in Early Childhood programs is preferred, and the role demands flexibility, empathy, and strong assessment skills.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active IL Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement
• Preferably has experience in Early Intervention settings
• Strong ability to conduct and interpret psychoeducational assessments for PreK – 4th grade
• Skilled in threat assessments and various mental health evaluation techniques
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

• Complete timely and thorough early childhood evaluations and re-evaluations
• Conduct threat assessments and/or mental health assessments as needed
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop and implement effective intervention plans
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to team decision-making
• Support ongoing student needs and provide consultation to classroom staff
