What You'll Work On
- Assist departments in defining training requirements and determining timelines.
- Work closely with department managers to ensure training is available when needed and completed when required.
- Set up audiences, certification trainings, courses, versional documents, and track in-class, online, onsite and offsite training.
- Develop, run, and distribute reports as scheduled or upon request for management and/or audit use.
- Manage the process that assigns courses to employees.
- Input content into LMS using pre-determined organizational structure and naming conventions.
- Maintains regular, reliable, and predictable attendance.
- Complies with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments.
- Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
- Performs other essential functions and responsibilities as determined by the Company from time to time.
- Work additional hours, days, or schedules (including other shifts, weekends, and/or holidays), if directed.
- Remains current on software changes and developments in field(s) of expertise.
- Resolves and/or facilitates resolution of problems, with more complex isues being referred to more advanced level personnel.
- Performs related functions and responsibilities, on occasion, as assigned.
- Support all Company initiatives as identified by management and in support of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other regulatory requirements.
- Performs other related duties and responsibilities, on occasion, as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 months of progressively responsible experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and/or applications such as Microsoft Office, database software, Adobe software, SharePoint, online training modules, or related systems.
- Demonstrated knowledge of training administration processes and learning management systems.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, meet deadlines, and work effectively under general supervision.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Basic math proficiency.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Ability to collaborate with employees across multiple levels of the organization.
- Understanding of and ability to comply with FDA regulations, company policies, procedures, and quality requirements.
- Regular and predictable attendance, with the ability to work overtime as needed.
- Experience with training software, Learning Management Systems (LMS), and/or Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS).
- Experience with Adobe Captivate, Articulate, or similar e-learning development tools.
- Experience working in a regulated industry such as medical devices, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, or manufacturing.
- Experience supporting a large enterprise or cross-divisional business environment.
- Experience working in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse organization.
- Ability to leverage cross-functional resources and influence stakeholders to accomplish project goals.
