Assistant Property Manager - Escobedo at Verde Vista

Join our team as an Assistant Property Manager at Escobedo at Verde Vista, a 132-unit affordable housing community in Mesa, AZ. This role is more than property management, it’s about creating a positive resident experience, building lasting relationships, and helping a community thrive. With LIHTC, HOME, and PBV programs, you’ll be part of a team making a meaningful difference every day. What You'll Do: Support day-to-day operations of the community while partnering closely with the Property Manager. Lease apartments in compliance with Workforce Housing, Fair Housing, and Affordable Housing Laws. Conduct tours, manage applications, leases, renewals, and resident follow-up. Build strong relationships with residents, prospects, vendors, and community partners. Assist with compliance paperwork, annual certifications, and coordination with the Compliance team. Manage rent collection activities, resident notices, service requests, and general administrative tasks. Support budgeting activities, invoice coding, vendor coordination, and basic financial processes. Assist with move-ins, move-outs, evictions, and court-related documentation as needed. What You'll Bring: Two or more years of leasing or property management experience. Working knowledge of affordable housing programs and compliance requirements preferred. Strong customer service, communication, and multi-tasking skills. Reliable form of transportation to get to the property each day. Comfort handling administrative tasks, financial processes, and confidential information. Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office. Competitive Hourly pay starting at $21 to $23/hour.
