Specialty NurseThis position is located in an ambulatory clinic within the Royal Oak Hospital.Scope of WorkThe Specialty Nurse is responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and ongoing operations of specialized cardiovascular programs, with an initial focus on the Resistant Hypertension, Prevention and Renal Denervation Clinics. This role serves as a clinical resource for patients, providers, and multidisciplinary team members while coordinating care across the continuum to improve patient outcomes and access to specialty services. The Specialty Nurse will assist in identifying, triaging, and managing patients who may benefit from advanced hypertension interventions, while also evaluating and coordinating referrals to preventive cardiology services.
