EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: No experience required QUALIFICATIONS / SPECIFIC SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE: Must be able to follow verbal instructions Ability to communicate appropriately with coworkers and customers Ability to operate all equipment necessary to perform required duties Must be able to safely handle, lift and carry items Maneuver carts and containers filled with clothing and materials Ability to stand and walk for long periods Ability to stoop and bend Ability to work varied hours and days as business dictates RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES: (E) – Essential function of job duties Ensure that each customer receives outstanding customer service by providing a customer friendly environment. Employee must greet/acknowledge each customer, possess solid product knowledge and express genuine concern for customers and their needs. (E) Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance & store housekeeping. (E) Assist in receiving/monitoring stock and processing/replenishing merchandise as necessary. (E) Follow safety protocols at all times and especially when using equipment in the warehouse. (E) Safely operate equipment which you have been properly trained to use. (E) Operate efficiently and stay on task to meet or exceed established goals. (E) Adhere to all company policies, procedures and practices including signage, pricing and loss prevention. (E) Must be able to perform all aspects of the donation process, including receiving donations. Communicate appropriately and positively with co-workers and others.
