Portfolio Control Analyst

$6,031.00 - $7,547.00 per Month (minimum for new to state candidates). Duties Under the direction of the Manager, Financial Program Control Branch (FPCB), the incumbent provides budget and program control functions for the Division of Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Headquarters and Field Division programs and organizations. Program and organizational assignments will vary and are periodically rotated between other analysts in FPCB. The position requires independent judgment and initiative, occasional lead analyst roles, collaboration, accuracy, understanding of budgeting and accounting principals, and management of multiple priorities within aggressive deadlines. Regular, consistent attendance is required. Minimum Requirements Analyst II classification Minimum salary: $6,031.00 - $7,547.00. New to State candidates will be hired at minimum salary or alternate range when applicable. Other: Positions, Work Location Number of Positions: 1 Work Location: California Natural Resources Building, Downtown Sacramento Telework: Hybrid Job Type: 12‑Month Limited Term – Full Time Scope Physical location at the California Natural Resources Building in Downtown Sacramento. May be extended or become permanent. Special Requirements Employee must complete all safety training related to job functions. Travel throughout the State by air and on public roadway required. Preferred Qualifications Desirable skills include data tracking or reporting, budgeting and financial knowledge, training and presentation creation, analytic experience, Microsoft Office, SAP, reporting software, data visualizations, customer service, program and project management experience.
