Full-Time | Days, 7:30a–4:00p, 80 hrs/pay period | $32.00–$48.00/hr
Specialized cardiac nursing, with the stability of a daytime schedule.
Gateway Regional Medical Center is looking for a Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Cath Lab team. You'll deliver focused, specialized nursing care to cardiac patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional procedures, working closely with physicians and a skilled team in a high-precision clinical environment - all on a predictable day shift.
This is a great fit for an experienced nurse looking to specialize in cardiac care, with consistent daytime hours and a team-oriented culture.
What You'll Do
- Deliver patient care through the full nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Coordinate nursing care in line with established clinical best practices
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to achieve the best possible patient outcomes
- Support cardiac catheterization procedures with precision and attention to patient safety
What You Bring
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current Illinois RN license
- Current BLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross)
- ACLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross) within 90 days of hire
- Previous nursing experience required
- Strong communication skills, physical stamina, and emotional resilience
