Performs venipunctures at entities where applicable, and obtains/prepares blood specimens in accordance with Piedmont policies and procedures. Assists technical staff in non-clinical tasks.Qualifications:EducationH.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) RequiredWork ExperienceNo experience required Required1 year of experience as a phlebotomist PreferredExperience in performing EKGs PreferredExperience working in healthcare or clinical laboratory setting PreferredLicenses and CertificationsNone RequiredCPT - Phlebotomy Technician Certification Phlebotomy certification through ASCP, ASPT, NCA or equivalent agency PreferredPiedmont Rockdale Hospital
