Material Handler - Lakeville RPC

Job Overview Full‑time, in‑person position at Uponor (GF Building Flow Solutions) supporting the Material Mixing function by unloading railcars of polyethylene resin, transferring resin into a silo, and filling 1000‑kg IBCs for transport to the Apple Valley manufacturing facility. Pay: $20.50 - $27.22 per hour based on experience. Day shift schedule: 4 on 4 off rotating. Responsibilities Prioritize daily activities and align actions to support overall function and business strategy. Load resin into IBCs using a control panel, transport resin to the staging area on forklift, and perform accurate labeling and inventory transactions in HighJump inventory software. Transport finished IBCs onto a dedicated semi‑trailer to the Apple Valley facility once product is verified for accuracy. Use a scanner to locate inventory accurately and maintain a clean, safe work environment, including the dock area. Communicate with the supervisor of the mixing and tooling group and with railroad representatives to coordinate railcar transport and keep inventory stocked. Maintain accurate records in the railway inventory system and connect rail car compartments to the vacuum transport system. Requirements High school education or equivalent. 1‑3 years of manufacturing experience (preferred). Ability to become certified in forklift operation and obtain OSHA training.
