Full Stack Engineer

Location: Remote - collaborate closely with US-based engineers Pay rate: Upto $30/hr

We are seeking a talented and motivated Full Stack Engineer to join a globally distributed engineering team supporting critical logistics and inventory control solutions. In this role, you will collaborate closely with US-based engineers, business stakeholders, product managers, and international contractors to build scalable and reliable software solutions that enhance operational efficiency across the organization.

The team focuses on solving complex business challenges within logistics and inventory management, including Outbound Logistics, Reverse Logistics, Inventory Adjustments, and Inventory Counting. The primary objective is to improve the experience of store employees by delivering innovative and user-friendly technology solutions based on direct feedback from end users.

This position involves full software development lifecycle responsibilities including development, deployment, production support, monitoring, and on-call support.

Key Responsibilities

Engineering & Development

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using modern technologies.
• Build reusable components and ensure high performance and responsiveness across platforms.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code with strong focus on engineering best practices.
• Create automated tests and debug applications to ensure a seamless user experience.

Team Collaboration

• Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders across global teams.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to the overall growth and success of the engineering team.

Monitoring & Observability

• Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using tools such as New Relic and Splunk.
• Ensure system availability, reliability, and optimal application performance.

Cloud & Infrastructure

• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes.
• Build and optimize cloud-native applications leveraging AWS and/or GCP services.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and automation processes for efficient software delivery.

Event-Driven Architecture

• Work with Kafka to enable real-time data streaming and event-driven system integrations.

Security & Networking

• Apply secure networking principles and cloud security best practices.
• Ensure compliance, data integrity, and system security standards are maintained.

Platform Upgrades & Support

• Lead and execute platform upgrades, infrastructure updates, and application migrations with minimal business disruption.
• Provide production support and participate in on-call rotations as required.
