Job Brief
Kable Workforce Solutions is hiring a E-Band Welder for our client. This job is responsible for performing TIG welding on aluminum, steel, and other materials according to specifications; reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings; setting up and adjusting welding equipment; inspecting finished welds to ensure quality standards

What’s a Typical Day Like?

• Perform TIG welding on aluminum, steel, and other materials according to project specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical documents to determine the appropriate welding techniques.
• Set up and adjust welding equipment to suit the specific material and project requirements.
• Inspect finished welds for quality, ensuring they meet required standards and specifications.
• Follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents, including wearing appropriate PPE and ensuring proper ventilation.
• Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, keeping tools and work areas organized.

What Are the Requirements of the Job?

• Proven experience in TIG welding, with proficiency in welding both aluminum and steel.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
• Familiarity with various welding tools, machines, and equipment.
• Strong understanding of welding safety standards and practices.
• Ability to perform quality inspections and adjust welds as necessary.
• Excellent attention to detail and precision.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Certification in welding (e.g., AWS Certified Welder) is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
• Ability to move or lift up to 50+ lbs.
• Ability to reach, grasp, hold, push, pull, bend, twist, squat, climb, kneel.
• Ability to utilize hand/eye coordination.
• Capability to stand for prolonged periods of time
• Communication skills.
