Clinical Psychologist – Veteran Disability Assessments

We are looking for a committed Clinical Psychologist to join our organization, focusing on conducting medical evaluations for U.S. Veterans as part of the disability benefits process through the VA. In this role, you will assess behavioral health records securely online and perform thorough in-person evaluations for each Veteran.

• Conduct in-person assessments for U.S. Veterans seeking disability benefits.
• Review and interpret electronic medical records through a secure web portal.
• Document findings accurately and complete necessary VA forms.

Note: This position does not involve providing treatment or prescribing medications. Disability decisions are made by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), not by the psychologist.

• Schedule: Part-Time, 2 days per week (Thursday & Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM).
• Location: In-person role.
• Caseload: Approximately 4 Veterans per day.
• Equipment Provided: Computer and all necessary documentation tools.

• A compassionate psychologist who is passionate about supporting the Veteran community.
• Strong analytical abilities to evaluate medical records and assessment data.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in electronic documentation and web-based systems.
• A professional and empathetic approach when interacting with Veterans.

• Possession of a Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA-accredited program.
• An active and unrestricted psychology license.
• Comfortable utilizing technology for record reviews and documentation.
