One of our companies is currently looking for a Data Scientist, Finance Analytics in Texas, New York, or California. In this role, you will be part of a dynamic Finance Analytics team, contributing to strategic financial insights by analyzing complex data and delivering actionable recommendations. You will collaborate with the Strategic Finance Team to drive high-impact projects and assist in building dashboards and financial models that enhance business performance.

Accountabilities:

• Conduct in-depth financial analysis to ensure the accuracy and relevance of key metrics, aligning them with business priorities.
• Develop and maintain executive dashboards, KPIs, and data sets to provide real-time financial insights to leadership.
• Address complex business challenges by creating clear and actionable financial metrics, supporting decision-making at the highest levels.
• Foster a culture of data excellence by promoting best practices for data management and analytics across teams.
• Communicate findings effectively, translating complex data into clear insights that drive strategic business decisions.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience as a data scientist, preferably in a high-growth startup environment working with leadership teams.
• Expertise in Looker Semantic Modeling and BI tools, with the ability to build self-service data sets for the Finance team.
• Strong background in financial data analysis, with at least 6 years of experience in data science, analytics, or engineering.
• Proficient in SQL and tools like R or Python, with the ability to handle large datasets and maintain data integrity.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented, with a passion for uncovering insights that guide strategic decisions.
