Part-Time Medical Receptionist

Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 5:15 PM - 8:00 PM ( maybe Tuesday when needed)

Pay Rate: $28.43 per hour

Position Summary

We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Part-Time Medical Receptionist to provide front-office support in a busy medical department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient service while ensuring efficient daily operations of the front desk.

Key Responsibilities
Greet and check patients in and out for appointments
Manage incoming telephone calls and respond to patient inquiries professionally
Verify patient insurance information and maintain accurate records
Schedule and manage appointments using the Epic electronic medical record system
Cross-cover and provide support to other clinical areas as needed
Maintain patient confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations
Ensure accurate documentation and data entry

Qualifications
Prior experience in a medical office or healthcare setting required
Strong customer service and verbal communication skills
Experience with patient registration, scheduling, and insurance verification
Familiarity with HIPAA compliance requirements
Proficiency with computer systems and scheduling software, preferably Epic
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
