AI Automation & Integration Engineer

Salary: $65,000 - 80,000 per year Requirements:

• We prefer a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, or Information Systems.
• We also consider candidates with strong development experience even if they do not hold a degree.
• We expect experience with several core technical areas, including Python, JavaScript and/or TypeScript, REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, Git/GitHub, SQL and databases, the OpenAI API, the Anthropic Claude API, AI agents and tool calling, prompt engineering, and workflow automation.
• We highly value experience with tools and platforms such as Model Context Protocol (MCP), n8n, Make, Zapier, LangChain, LangGraph, RAG systems, vector databases, embeddings, PostgreSQL, Supabase, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Vercel, OAuth, Google Search Console, Google Analytics / GA4, technical SEO, and schema / structured data.
• We want applicants who can demonstrate something they have personally built, such as an AI agent, ChatGPT or Claude application, API integration, automation workflow, RAG knowledge base, AI chatbot, web application, MCP implementation, or GitHub project.
• We strongly prefer a GitHub profile, portfolio, live application, or project demonstration.
• We are looking for candidates who have at least some experience with AI agents and tool calling, prompt engineering, MCP, n8n, LangChain, LangGraph, RAG systems, vector databases, embeddings, and related technologies.
• We prefer candidates comfortable working with Python, JavaScript / TypeScript, SQL, and HTML/CSS.
• We are seeking someone who can research and learn new platforms independently, communicate technical ideas clearly to nontechnical colleagues, and keep security, privacy, and data integrity in mind.
• This role is best suited to someone who enjoys solving business problems with technology and is interested in building AI infrastructure within a growing company.

• We develop AI-powered workflows using OpenAI/ChatGPT, Anthropic Claude, and other large language models.
• We build and maintain AI agents that can interact with company systems and data.
• We create integrations between AI platforms and our business software through APIs.
• We configure and develop Model Context Protocol (MCP) integrations.
• We automate repetitive internal processes with n8n, Make, Zapier, or custom software.
• We create internal AI assistants that can access our documents, policies, procedures, and operational data.
• We build Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems and company knowledge bases.
• We connect AI with CRM, email, websites, lead-generation tools, and operational software.
• We design automated lead intake, qualification, routing, and follow-up workflows.
• We help automate document review, reporting, estimating, and administrative work.
• We develop AI-assisted SEO and digital marketing workflows.
• We work with Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and other marketing platforms when needed.
• We build data pipelines that connect internal systems and third-party tools.
• We test and troubleshoot AI agents, prompts, APIs, and automated workflows.
• We monitor AI output for accuracy and reliability.
• We implement authentication, permissions, and security controls where appropriate.
• We document integrations and workflows so they can be maintained and expanded.
• We continuously evaluate emerging AI technologies that could improve our operations.
