Atlas Tech is a rapidly expanding company supporting the U.S. Military and other Government entities and we are seeking a passionate, flexible, and highly motivated team player to join our group of Technology professionals.\n

\nWe are looking for a talented Future Capabilities Network Engineer' to support Network Engineering efforts for the Future Capabilities program in PMW 110 Tactical Afloat Networking (previously PMW 160 Tactical Networks). This is a full-time position working out of San Diego, CA.\n
\n

\n
\nThe Network Engineer will support the design of U.S. Navy networks.\n
\n
You Will: \n
\n

\n
• Support the design of Navy networks
\n
• Develop network topologies, system-driven templates, and IP plans
\n
• Create test plans and associated documentation
\n
• Configure and document SD-WAN solutions
\n

\n
You Have: \n
\n

\n
• U.S. Citizenship
\n
• Possession of and the ability to maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Level Security Clearance
\n
• 3+ years of experience developing technical documentation
\n
• Experience with SDN/ SD-WAN Technologies and vendors including VMware, NSX-T, Cisco, Juniper, and open-source solutions
\n
• Experience with network configuration for L2/L3 switches, routers, security appliances (firewalls, NIDS, NIPS, etc)
\n
• Experience developing and documenting network topologies
\n
• Experience in troubleshooting and restoring network and system outages
\n
• Experience in virtualization technologies
\n
• Proven track record of performance in client facing roles that require engagement and relationship building with stakeholders across Navy programs, the DoD, or other federal agencies
\n

\n
Education/Experience: \n
\n

\n
• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited university in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physical Science required.
\n
• Minimum of six (6) years experience supporting the engineering of Information Technology systems for a DoD or Government Agency
\n
• CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) certification; or equivalent
\n

\n
We Would Be Impressed If You Had: \n
\n

\n
• Experience with RF communications, specifically MILSATCOM or COMSATCOM technologies.
\n
• Experience leveraging NetDevOps or DevSecOps to scale enterprise level engineering projects.
\n
• Experience with Network Automation in Python, Ansible, NETCONF, and/or RESTCONF
\n
• Experience modeling network configuration in JSON, YAML, or Jinja
\n
• Experience developing and maturing complex, collaborative networking projects and working autonomously to move network development forward
\n
• A TS/SCI Security Clearance
\n
