Copper Cellar and Cappuccino's are looking for Cooks of all experience levels to join our team at our West Knoxville location. For 50 years, Copper Cellar has been a local Knoxville staple known for great food, genuine hospitality, and a strong team behind the scenes. Whether you're an experienced line cook looking for your next kitchen or you're ready to build your skills and grow in the restaurant industry , we'd love to meet you. Our kitchen offers the opportunity to work and learn across several stations, including Window, Grill, Salad, Sauté, Fry, and Prep . We're looking for dependable people who enjoy staying busy, working as a team, and taking pride in the food they put on the plate. What You'll Do Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and specifications Work stations including Grill, Sauté, Fry, Salad, Window, and Prep , depending on experience and training Learn multiple kitchen stations and continue building your skills Maintain proper food temperatures, quality, and presentation Prep and assemble ingredients accurately and efficiently Keep your station clean, organized, stocked, and ready for service Follow food safety, sanitation, and proper food-handling procedures Learn new menu items, features, and specials as they are introduced Communicate and work closely with the rest of the kitchen team Help ensure kitchen equipment is operating safely and properly Keep up in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and consistency Who We're Looking For We welcome applicants with different levels of kitchen experience . Experienced cooks are encouraged to apply, but we're also interested in hardworking people who are ready to learn. Our ideal team member: Is dependable and ready to work Is a team player with a positive attitude and sense of humor Takes pride in preparing quality food Can follow recipes and instructions accurately Works quickly while staying organized Has basic math skills and understands simple measurements and conversions Can properly use a digital scale and thermometer Is willing to learn and grow within the kitchen Previous line or restaurant kitchen experience is preferred, but not required for every position Physical Requirements This is an active, hands-on kitchen position.
