Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room

The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) provides critical care to patients in a fast-paced environment. This role requires expertise in assessing and managing a diverse range of medical emergencies, ensuring that patients receive rapid and effective treatment.

Shift Details

• Night Shift: 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:00)
• Weekends required; scheduled days may vary based on staffing needs.
• Must work 2 out of the 3 winter holidays.

Contract Length

Contract duration is 13 weeks with potential start dates of October 12, October 26, or November 9.

Work Hours

• Full-time options: 36 or 48 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Registered Nurse license in Virginia (can submit with license pending).
• Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC (TNCC can be pending but must be obtained before starting).
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required, including at least 1 year of experience in a level 1 trauma center or 2 years in a level 2 trauma center with pediatric experience.
• Time off: A maximum of 40 hours can be approved for time off during the contract period.
