Key Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-operative nursing care in a procedural unit supporting non-invasive cardiology cases
• Care for patients undergoing TEE, cardioversions, and cardiac stress testing procedures
• Maintain a 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio across pre/post bays and procedure areas
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using EPIC EMR
• Participate in required holiday coverage as scheduled by the unit (up to 1–2 summer and/or winter holidays)

Required Qualifications

• Active Iowa RN license (or compact license accepted per state requirements)
• Active BLS certification through AHA or American Red Cross
• Minimum 24 months of current experience in Pre/Post-Op, PACU, or Cardiac/Cardiology setting
• Demonstrated experience with TEE and cardioversion procedures
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible (based on driver's license)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with cardiac stress testing
• First-time travelers considered with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
• Professional reference from a charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, or director within the past 24 months
