Registered NurseThe Joseph "Eddie" Ballard Western Kentucky Veterans Center is a 156-bed long term care facility located in beautiful Hanson, Kentucky that is committed to serving Kentucky's Veterans by fostering independence, preserving dignity and providing compassionate care. We are currently seeking for self- motivated, energetic Registered Nurses who possess the skills, knowledge, and desire to care for Kentucky Veterans using a holistic nursing approach. Here you will be able to provide quality nursing services to our residents, which includes the following:Assessing and implementing care plansEvaluating care for the residentsGuiding Nurse Aides in the care of residentsCharting health informationParticipating in staff education and directly caring for our residentsWe offer flexible scheduling, holiday, weekend and shift premiums and the Veterans Affairs Nurse Loan Repayment Program. The ideal candidate will work within a team-centered environment to meet our commitment to serve Kentucky's Veterans by fostering independence, preserving dignity, and providing compassionate care. This position, in Hopkins county has an approved Locality Premium of $14.41 in compliance with 101 KAR 2:034 Section 9(1).Must be licensed in Kentucky as a registered nurse or possess a valid work permit issued by the Kentucky Board of Nursing. Must maintain any required licensure(s), certification(s), or other credentials for the length of employment in this job classification.
