Quality Assurance SpecialistLocation: Ontario, CA Type: Direct Hire Compensation: $70,000 Work Model: Onsite Hours: 40.0ResponsibilitiesEnsure compliance with FDA regulations, GMP requirements, labeling standards, and retailer compliance guidelinesCoordinate third-party laboratory testing programs and review test resultsSupport FDA registrations, regulatory submissions, and compliance documentationQualify suppliers and oversee GMP and social compliance auditsManage corrective and preventive action (CAPA) programs and quality deviationsLead quality and compliance activities associated with new product launchesReview product ingredients, labels, packaging, and claims for regulatory complianceMonitor changes in regulatory requirements and implement necessary process updatesServe as the primary quality and regulatory contact for retail customersMaintain private-label, retailer, and regulatory documentationPartner cross-functionally with Product Development, Operations, Purchasing, Sales, and SuppliersProvide project status updates and proactively mitigate compliance risksRequirementsBachelor's degree in Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, Engineering, or a related fieldMinimum 2+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Regulatory ComplianceExperience within Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), Cosmetics, OTC, Medical Device, or related industriesStrong understanding of FDA regulations, GMP requirements, and compliance programsExcellent root-cause analysis and problem-solving skillsStrong organizational and project management abilitiesProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentSystem One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
