Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital is seeking a visionary Cardiothoracic Surgeon to serve as Medical Director, leading the continued growth and innovation of its cardiothoracic and cardiovascular surgery program. Responsibilities

• Provide clinical oversight and strategic leadership for all cardiothoracic and cardiovascular surgical services.
• Lead growth of thoracic oncology, lung nodule evaluation, and comprehensive surgical care pathways.
• Advance minimally invasive and robotic surgical capabilities across thoracic and cardiac procedures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care.
• Drive quality improvement, patient safety, and adherence to national benchmarks and best practices.
• Direct program development, expansion initiatives, and operational performance monitoring.
• Support research, academic engagement, and surgical education in partnership with GME and institutional leadership.
• Strengthen market position and regional reputation through innovation, technology integration, and community engagement.
