DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

▪ Pre rinse, wash and sanitize equipment per company standards.

▪ Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of production equipment and production areas.

▪ Efficiently disassemble and assemble production equipment for proper cleaning

▪ Spray machines, tables, pans, and conveyors with water to loosen and remove dirt or other foreign

matter

▪ Scrub machinery then rinse with water prior to applying sanitizer

▪ Scrub floor, walls and drain as part of master cleaning schedule.

▪ Connect hoses and lines to pumps to circulate cleaning and sanitizing solution

▪ Report any defective machinery immediately to team leader or supervisor

▪ Mix cleaning solutions and diluted acids

▪ Remove trash throughout facility and transport to designed location. Replace liners.

▪ Clean lunch room sink, tables, microwaves, refrigerator, sweep floors.

▪ Maintain restrooms by cleaning and sanitizing toilets, sinks, floors, mirrors, doors and walls

▪ Replenish supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, and soap

▪ Adhere to all safety and GMP guidelines in the performance of job

▪ Follow applicable safety precautions for use and handling of various chemicals and cleaning

solutions.

▪ Keep chemical storage area orderly and clean.

▪ Aware of chemicals properties and proper use of cleaning solutions

▪ Ensure chemicals are properly labeled and stored

▪ Follow rules and regulations to ensure food safety and quality

▪ Others duties and tasks as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

▪ 1 year of experience as a Sanitation Worker in food manufacturing

▪ Should be mechanically inclined with emphasis on disassembly and reassembly of equipment.

▪ Ability to and follow verbal and written instructions for interpretation of chemical usage and standard procedures.

▪ Ability to read, write and speak simple sentences. Moderate English proficiency

▪ Open to working night.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

▪ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally; up to 25 lbs frequently

▪ Ability to push/pull/move up to 200 lbs occasionally

▪ Occasionally climb ladders and sky jack and work on elevated surfaces

▪ Constant walking/standing

▪ Ability to bend/twist at waist; stoop and kneel

▪ Ability to use constantly hands to grasp and hold tools and cleaning supplies

▪ Ability to reach with arms including overhead reaching.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

▪ Must to able to work flexible schedule to meet production demands

▪ Occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions

▪ Exposure wet and slippery working surfaces.

▪ Exposure to cleaning chemicals, LED lighting and machine noise
