MRI Technologist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to perform high-quality magnetic resonance imaging procedures in a fast-paced outpatient setting. This role requires a strong focus on patient safety, image quality, and workflow efficiency, while collaborating closely with radiologists and healthcare teams to ensure accurate diagnostic results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine MRI procedures following established protocols

• Review imaging orders and clarify incomplete or ambiguous requests

• Evaluate MRI images for quality, accuracy, and proper patient identification

• Ensure optimal visualization of anatomy and pathology

• Prepare and administer IV contrast as required

• Maintain patient safety standards, including MRI screening and monitoring

• Collaborate with radiologists and providers regarding imaging studies

• Maintain sterile techniques and prevent cross-contamination

• Manage workflow effectively to optimize patient throughput

Additional Responsibilities:

• Ensure imaging protocols align with clinical indications

• Report equipment malfunctions or operational issues

• Perform quality control checks and preventative maintenance

• Monitor inventory levels and restock supplies as needed

Patient Population:

• Adult and geriatric patients requiring diagnostic imaging services in an outpatient setting.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (required)

• ARRT certification in Radiography (required)

• ARRT certification in MRI (preferred) or equivalent experience

• BLS/CPR certification (required)

• Minimum 2 years of MRI experience preferred

• Strong knowledge of MRI safety, contrast administration, and imaging protocols

• Excellent communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills

Compensation & Benefits Highlights:

• Hourly rate: $36 - $46 per hour (based on experience)
