Research Technician

Research Technician Integral Molecular, Inc., is a Philadelphia biotech company specializing in the discovery and characterization of therapeutic antibodies using cutting-edge technology platforms that are enabling the discovery of novel therapeutics against intractable targets. To support our growth, we seek a Research Technician to join our Membrane Proteome Array research team. Opportunities: Opportunity to develop laboratory molecular biology skills Opportunity for scientific development leading to professional advancement Responsibilities: Setup and execute routine laboratory experiments Perform DNA isolation and associated quality control assays Maintain plasmid library using high throughput techniques Perform tasks using aseptic techniques including working within a biological safety cabinet Organize large data sets within an Excel spreadsheet Required Qualifications: 6 months - 2 years hands-on laboratory experience Associate or Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, medical technology or related field Demonstrated ability to adhere to standard operating protocols and learn quickly Ability to work in a team-based environment with a collaborative and proactive attitude Excellent communication skills Attention to detail Other Qualifications (desired but not necessary): Experience with molecular biology techniques such as (PCR, E. coli transformation, Sanger sequencing and analysis) Experience performing quality control assays Previous general work experience Please note: We are only accepting local candidates who live within the greater Philadelphia metro area and can commute to our offices daily for this position.
