RN - ICU

Registered Nurse - Medical-Surgical ICU

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Medical-Surgical ICU. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong ability to manage critical patients, provide comprehensive care, and assume charge responsibilities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Medical-Surgical ICU setting.
• Monitor and manage patient conditions, including administering medications and treatments.
• Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Assist in procedures and manage complex medical equipment.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Epic charting system.
• Educate patients and their families on care plans and health management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of experience in a Medical-Surgical ICU setting preferred.
• Travel experience preferred.
• Current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications required.
• Previous charge experience preferred.
• Experience with Epic charting system required.
• State or Compact RN license must be in hand at the time of application.
