Senior Cybersecurity Engineer

GavinHeath is partnering with a client looking to add a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to their team. The role is a fully remote contract position.

Responsibilities:

• Support security architecture design and implementation.
• Implement and maintain cybersecurity controls across enterprise environments.
• Develop and support security automation solutions.
• Perform infrastructure hardening and security improvements.
• Support Azure and cloud security engineering initiatives.
• Administer and optimize enterprise security platforms.
• Support threat detection engineering.
• Develop security integrations and orchestration across platforms and tools.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant cybersecurity engineering experience.
• Strong experience with the Microsoft Security technology stack.
• Experience with Azure security and cloud security engineering.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 security technologies.
• Experience with Microsoft Sentinel.
• Experience with the Microsoft Defender suite.
• Knowledge of identity security principles and technologies.
• Understanding of Zero Trust architecture and security principles.
• Ability to support stakeholders across multiple regions across North America.
