RN Ambulatory - Pediatrics

About This Role As an RN on the Pediatrics team at Cleveland Clinic Florida, you will deliver exceptional care throughout the patient care journey, interacting directly with patients and their families while providing healthcare education as needed. Highlights Location: Jensen Beach, FL Schedule: Full-time, Day shift What You'll Do Provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting. Assess health status, complete nursing assessments, perform telephone triage and establish care plans. Collaborate with care coordinators to ensure smooth and effective transitions of care. Administer medications and treatments. Initiate CPR and other emergency measures. Notify the physician and/or Licensed Independent Provider (LIP) of abnormal findings. Assist with specialized diagnostic procedures, therapeutic procedures and specialized patient care equipment. Develop, evaluate, adapt and document health education and provide it to patients and families. Cover other nursing roles within the department. Requirements Education: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program) Experience: One year of recent experience as an RN Will consider LPN, Medical Assistant and/or other unlicensed clinical healthcare experience in substitution of RN experience for current Cleveland Clinic caregivers Licenses & Certifications: Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross About Cleveland Clinic Cleveland Clinic is a leading healthcare provider recognized as one of the top hospitals in the nation.
