Continuous Improvement Analyst

Manufacturing Quality Improvement Work Chromalloy is a global engineering & solutions company. We are a leading provider of aftermarket parts, repairs, and solutions that safely & reliably extend the life of aircraft engines and gas turbines. We develop, manufacture and repair critical turbine components for a range of engine platforms. Our solutions support the engines running the aerospace, energy and defense industries around the world. Manufacturing Quality Improvement work includes: Creating and implementing quality management programs focused on continuous improvement of manufacturing‑related business systems from the customers' point of view Identifying and monitoring customer and employee feedback loops regarding the effectiveness of manufacturing‑related business systems and processes Encouraging broad‑based employee engagement to gather information and implement changes at every level in the organization; a Senior Professional (P3) applies advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience Responsibilities may include: Managing projects / processes, working independently with limited supervision Coaching and reviewing the work of lower level professionals Problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Work with Continuous Improvement Lead (CI Lead) to set goals based on customer and business needs Equip employees with the tools and knowledge to drive improvement throughout Manage and interact effectively with diverse groups and personalities Use proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint Demonstrate strong written and presentation skills Coordinate mapping of value streams in order to develop improvement targets Direct continual improvement team efforts Facilitate team meetings and kaizen events Support and positively drive 5S improvements Provide training/education to associates at all levels Consult with suppliers and customers as needed to achieve goals Motivate and mentor others in continuous improvement culture Inspire a culture of change and improvement Education and/or experience: Minimum two years' experience in Operations Management or equivalent. Qualifications and skills: Analytical – synthesize complex information, collect and research data, design work flows and procedures Problem Solving – identify and resolve problems, develop alternative solutions, work well in group problem solving situations Project Management – develop project plans, coordinate projects, communicate changes and progress, complete projects on time and budget Technical Skills – assess own strengths and weaknesses, pursue training and development opportunities, share expertise with others Interpersonal Skills – focus on solving conflict, listen to others without interrupting, keep emotions under control Oral Communication – speak clearly and persuasively, listen and get clarification, respond well to questions, demonstrate group presentation skills, participate in meetings Written Communication – write clearly and informatively, edit work for spelling and grammar, vary writing style to meet needs, present numerical data effectively Teamwork – balance team and individual responsibilities, exhibit objectivity and openness to others’ views, give and welcome feedback, build a positive team spirit Change Management – communicate changes effectively, build commitment and overcome resistance, prepare and support those affected by change, monitor transition and evaluate results Delegation – match responsibility to the person, give authority to work independently, set expectations and monitor delegated activities, provide recognition for results Leadership – inspire and motivate others to perform well, accept feedback from others Business Acumen – understand business implications of decisions, display orientation to profitability Cost Consciousness – develop and implement cost‑saving measures Diversity – demonstrate knowledge of EEO policy, show respect for cultural differences, promote a harassment‑free environment Ethics – treat people with respect, keep commitments, inspire trust, work with integrity and uphold organizational values Organizational Support – follow policies and procedures, complete administrative tasks correctly, support organization’s goals and values, respect affirmative action and diversity Judgment – exhibit sound and accurate judgment, support and explain reasoning for decisions, include appropriate people in decision‑making process Motivation – set and achieve challenging goals, demonstrate persistence and overcome obstacles Planning/Organizing – use time efficiently, set goals and objectives, develop realistic action plans Professionalism – approach others tactfully, react well under pressure Quality – look for ways to improve and promote quality Physical requirements: Regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms Frequently required to walk and talk or hear Occasionally required to sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus Exposed to moving mechanical parts, wet/humid conditions, outside weather conditions, extreme heat, vibration, minimal risk of radiation, fumes or airborne particles, caustic chemicals; noise in the work environment ranges from very quiet to very loud throughout a typical workday #J-18808-Ljbffr Chromalloy Corporation
