Manufacturing Quality Improvement work includes: Creating and implementing quality management programs focused on continuous improvement of manufacturing‑related business systems from the customers' point of view Identifying and monitoring customer and employee feedback loops regarding the effectiveness of manufacturing‑related business systems and processes Encouraging broad‑based employee engagement to gather information and implement changes at every level in the organization; a Senior Professional (P3) applies advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience Responsibilities may include: Managing projects / processes, working independently with limited supervision Coaching and reviewing the work of lower level professionals Problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Work with Continuous Improvement Lead (CI Lead) to set goals based on customer and business needs Equip employees with the tools and knowledge to drive improvement throughout Manage and interact effectively with diverse groups and personalities Use proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint Demonstrate strong written and presentation skills Coordinate mapping of value streams in order to develop improvement targets Direct continual improvement team efforts Facilitate team meetings and kaizen events Support and positively drive 5S improvements Provide training/education to associates at all levels Consult with suppliers and customers as needed to achieve goals Motivate and mentor others in continuous improvement culture Inspire a culture of change and improvement Education and/or experience: Minimum two years' experience in Operations Management or equivalent.
