Rehab Therapy Tech

Position Summary: The Rehab Technician performs a variety of direct patient care activities for a designated nursing unit. Assists medical and nursing staff with procedures and/or tests, assists patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADL's), obtains non-invasive body fluid specimens and may draw blood for glucose monitoring. Experience: Six months experience in a long term care environment preferred. Essential Functions Assists with computer data entry and generates reports as requested. Requires effective communication skills for working with patients, families, caregivers, and departmental and interdepartmental relationships. Assist with setting patients up for therapy. Assist the Medical Director with tasks as needed. Assist the Business Office Manager with tasks as needed. Requirements Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Licenses/Certification: Valid certification as a CNA in the state of employment preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr Paylocity
