Financial Controller

Overview W.G. Hamil in Thomasville, GA , is looking for a Controller to manage our financial operations and keep things running smoothly behind the scenes. We’re a family-owned business specializing in watermelons and wholesale pecans, and we need someone detail-oriented, reliable, and ready to take charge of our accounting processes. Responsibilities Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable Prepare financial reports and maintain accurate records Manage payroll and ensure compliance with tax regulations Collaborate with management to provide financial insights Lead financial tracking and reporting Support senior leadership in all other relevant tasks What We’re Looking For Degree in accounting or finance, CPA preferred Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and bookkeeping Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Accounting/Auditing and Finance Industries Wholesale #J-18808-Ljbffr W.G.
