AP Clerk Location: Sterling, VA Company: Freyssinet, Inc. Department: Accounting / Finance Position Summary Freyssinet, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Payable (AP) Clerk to join our accounting team. This role is responsible for processing invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely payments to vendors. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and demonstrates strong organizational and communication skills. Key Responsibilities Process, review, and verify vendor invoices for accuracy and completeness Perform accurate and timely data entry of accounts payable transactions Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documentation Maintain well-organized and accurate financial records Communicate professionally with vendors regarding billing inquiries and payment status Work cross-functionally with internal teams to resolve discrepancies Assist with account reconciliations and basic accounting functions Prepare and maintain reports and spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel Prioritize workload to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Support month-end closing activities as needed Provide general administrative support to the accounting team Qualifications Minimum Associate degree in Accounting or currently working toward completion 0–5 years of experience in accounts payable or a related accounting role Required Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office , especially Excel and Word Strong understanding of basic math and accounting principles Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with vendors, customers, and management Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy Highly organized, dependable, and self-motivated Company Culture and Benefits: Freyssinet Inc is committed to fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
