Material Handler
We are currently seeking a Material Handler to work at our Cowpens, SC location.
Schedule:
- Full-time, 1st shift
- MondayFriday, 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m., additional hours may be required
- Pay: $21.50
What You'll Do:
- Transfer products into and out of pails, drums, and totes using transfer pumps and hoses
- Read paperwork with chemical amounts and blending instructions
- Pull product samples and submit them to the Lab for quality control
- Label containers and secure closures
- Inspect, label, store, and prepare products for shipment
- Stage, load, and unload pails, drums, and totes
- Operate a forklift
- Wear required PPE for safety
- Keep your work area safe, clean, and orderly
- Lift and/or move 55 lbs
- Cross-train in areas such as shipping/receiving, bulk handling, inventory control, chemical packaging, fiberglass handling, tote cleaning, preventive maintenance, and yard truck spotting
Candidates Should Possess:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong safety mindset
- Forklift certification (training is provided)
- Effective verbal and written communication skills to work with co-workers
