Job Summary

We are looking for an ambitious and entrepreneurial Sales Account Manager to drive growth within our industrial packaging division. Reporting to the Sales Director, this individual will manage the Northeastern U.S. territory and develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand market share, strengthen customer relationships, and win new business. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of sales growth, relationship management, and business development, preferably within the polyethylene film or flexible packaging industry. An established network within industrial and specialty packaging markets will be considered a significant advantage.

What You'll Do

• Grow sales with existing customers and achieve revenue targets
• Prospect, cold call, and develop new customer relationships
• Identify and engage key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders
• Negotiate new contracts and renew existing agreements
• Analyze territory performance, customer trends, and sales metrics
• Build and manage a robust sales pipeline through CRM tools
• Develop strategic territory and account growth plans
• Deliver compelling presentations showcasing Balcan's innovative solutions
• Represent Balcan at industry events, trade shows, and supplier summits
• Travel extensively to support customers and drive business growth

What We're Looking For

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business, Commerce, Science, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of sales experience, preferably in the flexible packaging industry
• Understanding of extrusion and converting processes
• Proven success in customer acquisition, business development, and sales growth
• Strong prospecting and cold-calling skills
• Proficiency with CRM systems, PowerPoint, Excel, and sales pipeline management tools
• Self-starter with excellent planning, organization, and time-management skills
• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
• Valid driver's license and passport
• Willingness to travel up to 60%
