Southern Companions is a locally owned private duty home care agency that has proudly served Georgia families for over 17 years. We provide compassionate, one-on-one care for seniors, individuals with disabilities, and post-operative clients throughout 26 counties in Georgia.

Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Assist with personal care, bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Assist with errands, transportation, and appointments.
- Encourage independence while ensuring client safety.
- Accurately document client care and communicate with office staff.
Qualifications
While we prefer applicants with at least 2 years of caregiving experience or a CNA certification, we provide comprehensive training to help you succeed.
Applicants should have:
- A caring, compassionate, and dependable personality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong time management and reliability.
- Flexibility to adapt to each client's unique needs.
- A valid TB test.
- Current in-person CPR/First Aid Certification.
- Reliable transportation.
- Valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
- A commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
Pay & Benefits
- Starting pay: $16.00 per hour
- Live-in rate: $200-$225 per day
