Intern - Information Technology Part-Time Indianapolis, IN, US 22 days ago Requisition ID: 1273 We are searching for a motivated and enthusiastic Information Technology Intern to join our dynamic team. As an IT intern, you will work closely with our experienced IT Manager to assist in day-to-day IT maintenance and support. This opportunity offers hands‑on experience and exposure to real‑world challenges, allowing you to apply your academic knowledge, enhance your skills, and contribute to the success of our team. What you'll gain Gain valuable hands‑on experience supporting IT systems in a civil‑engineering environment. Exposure to industry‑standard tools and processes, IT infrastructure, and system administration. Opportunity to contribute to real‑world projects like analyzing data to improve workflows, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, and more. Experience working in a professional environment supporting cross‑functional teams. Mentorship and guidance from an experienced IT professional. What you need Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, and networking concepts. Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 or similar productivity tools. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently. Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to think critically about IT challenges. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Eagerness to learn, adapt, and contribute to a collaborative team environment. Previous internship experience or exposure to civil engineering industry is a plus. Note: this internship position will typically last for 4 months, starting in May or June 2026. The duration may be subject to adjustment based on academic schedules and project requirements.
