Job Title: Emergency Room Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Critical Access Client RN Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3 12-hour shifts per week + 2 Call shifts Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Current Registered Nurse License Certifications: ACLS, PALS (or equivalent), TNCC, BLS Must-Have: Emergency Department experience, preferably in a critical access hospital Description: Come to the mountains! This position involves covering the Emergency Department during night shifts. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and coordinating patient care in the Emergency Department from admission to discharge. The role requires adherence to accepted standards and protocols of Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) (or equivalent), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), and Basic Life Support (BLS). The Registered Nurse is accountable for achieving patient outcomes through the implementation of clinical pathways. Shared housing may be available within 30 miles based on capacity. No smoking or pets allowed. Applicants must disclose all requests for time off during the interview process. Holiday coverage and on-call shifts are required.
