Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview Shift: Days, 4x10hrs Hours: 40 hrs/wk Start Date: Sep 15, 2025 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with RCIS certification and 2 years of cardiovascular specialty experience for a Days assignment Details Work in the Cath Lab performing invasive cardiology, noninvasive cardiology, and peripheral vascular study procedures 13-week travel assignment with day shift hours from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM Call commitment includes one weeknight per week and one weekend per month Rotating holiday coverage required Epic EMR used for charting Requirements Minimum of an Associate Degree, graduate of an approved Cardiovascular Training Program, or graduate of an accredited Allied Health Program RCIS certification required At least 2 years of recent experience in the cardiovascular specialty required Current BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications required from AHA or RQI Epic EMR experience required License required if applicable No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Additional Information Perform diagnostic examinations at the direction of an Interventional Cardiologist, collecting subjective data to support accurate anatomical and physiological diagnoses Local candidates residing within a 50-mile radius are not eligible, including those living in Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington counties Only medical exemptions signed by a licensed professional are accepted for flu vaccination; personal or religious declinations are not accepted More than 3 call-outs within the 13-week assignment may result in contract termination, with required make-up shifts completed within 6 weeks Requested time off must be submitted at the time of application American Traveler Job ID P-596270.
