About This Role The Staff Nurse in Psychiatry provides professional nursing care to patients within the Behavioral Health Prison unit, focusing on diagnosing and treating health problems through various nursing methods and techniques. Highlights Pay: $109,490/year Location: New York, NY Facility: Bellevue Department/Unit: BEHAVIORAL HEALTH PRISON 19W Schedule: Full-Time, Night (7:00 P.M – 7:30 A.M) What You'll Do Identify and discriminate between physical and psycho-social signs and symptoms. Develop, implement, and continuously evaluate the nursing regimen for assigned patients. Record and maintain nursing care plans and progress notes on patients. Interpret and report responses of patients to appropriate health team members. Participate with interdisciplinary health team members to plan comprehensive patient care. Determine and assign components of the nursing regimen to allied nursing personnel. Provide teaching, guidance, and direction to allied nursing personnel. Participate in defining, implementing, and maintaining nursing practice standards. Participate in departmental and interdisciplinary conferences on nursing policies. Maintain professional competence through continuing education and learning experiences. Requirements Experience: Nursing experience as a Staff Nurse required. Additional Compensation Annual education differential based on degree: Bachelors in allied health discipline = $900 Masters in allied health discipline = $1,200 Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) = $1,800 Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) = $2,000 Doctorate in Education, Nursing Practice or PhD in Nursing (DNP) = $2,500 Annual certification differential ranging from $1,878 up to $4,878 for recognized certifications. Annual nursing experience differential ranging from $987 up to $8,190 for up to 10 years of experience.
