Assembly TechnicianThe Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling, preparing, and finishing projects according to company quality standards, production schedules, and safety requirements. This role works closely with the Assembly Lead to ensure projects are completed accurately, efficiently, and ready for shipment.Responsibilities:Assemble exhibit, event, and environment components according to drawings and work instructionsFollow direction from the Assembly Lead to complete assigned tasksMaintain quality standards throughout the assembly processReport missing materials, damaged parts, or project issues to the Assembly LeadAssist with project staging, packing, and preparation for shipmentHelp with project returns, inventory, and material organization as neededMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work areaFollow all company safety policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs)Support team members and contribute to meeting production schedulesPerform other related duties as assignedQualifications & Skills:High school diploma or equivalent preferredPrevious experience in exhibit fabrication, construction, carpentry, assembly, manufacturing, or a related field preferredStrong mechanical aptitude and ability to work effectively with hand and power toolsAbility to read and understand drawings, diagrams, measurements, and written work instructionsBasic computer literacy, including the ability to use company software, email, web-based applications, and digital project documentationAbility and willingness to learn and effectively use company technology and production systemsStrong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and accuracyAbility to follow established processes, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and safety requirementsGood organizational and time-management skillsAbility to communicate effectively with Assembly Leads, supervisors, and other team membersAbility to work independently when assigned while also contributing effectively as part of a teamDependable attendance and punctuality with the flexibility to work overtime as production schedules requireAbility to identify problems and promptly communicate missing materials, damaged components, or other issues that could impact quality or scheduleForklift or other material-handling experience preferred; willingness to obtain company-required certificationsPhysical Requirements:Ability to stand and work on your feet for extended periodsAbility to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and components weighing up to 50 poundsAbility to bend, kneel, climb, reach, and perform other physical activities associated with assembly and production workAbility to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and other production equipment
