Key responsibilities of the RN Orthopedic Surgery include:

• Provide high-quality care in an orthopedic unit
• Manage patient assessments, planning, and evaluations
• Administer medications and treatments as required
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team members
• Monitor patient progress and document in Meditech EMR
• Assist with mobility including use of lifts, chest tubes, and wound vacs

Requirements of the RN Orthopedic Surgery include:

• BLS certification
• Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital Ortho experience
• Ortho/Trauma background preferred, Medical/Surgical experience considered
