Machining Technology Instructor

To support a diverse student population, the part-time Machining Technology Instructor will plan, organize, and deliver courses in machining, utilizing various teaching methods and technologies, while providing timely feedback and engaging with students both in-person and online. Key responsibilities: Create a learning environment that facilitates the acquisition of knowledge and skills in machining Align course activities with learning outcomes and employ active learning strategies to enhance student engagement Deliver instruction and conduct assessments while adhering to college policies and providing meaningful feedback to students Required qualifications: High School Diploma (or equivalent) Minimum of five years of industry experience in machining, including CNC and manual operations Commitment to hands-on, student-centered instruction Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population Experience with modern CNC equipment and CAM software
